Italy. Serie A is Italian football's top division, administered by Lega Serie A within the framework of the national federation, the FIGC. The newcomers join a calendar that opens on 22-23 August 2026 and closes across 29-30 May 2027, with 38 rounds and 380 matches in between. A round typically stretches from Friday to Monday, and twice the entire division plays in midweek: on 28 October 2026 and on 6 January 2027.
